Tiny, but do the job.
Very tiny and hard to use, but do the job sufficiently, once you get them to penetrate the fabric. I have arthritis in my hands, so that could be part of the problem.

Too small to get through quilted or heavy fabric.
Too difficult to get through quilted fabric and upholstery on chair. Too small for arthritic people to handle.

Old-Fashioned, yes, but THEY WORK!
I grew up with these pins, they kept slipcovers on couches and arm-covers on chairs. I searched all over to find them and was so glad when I finally did! I gave the "quality" as a 4 because some of the pins were a little squashed in shipping.

Works good
Made smaller then they used to be but they still screw in great not like the oval ones with the two spikes that keep falling out. I don't have to worry with the screw ones falling out of the bed skirt and stepping on them barefooted.
